Wine Basics — Grape Varietals 301: Riesling
This wine is from the Nahe region in Germany and does not have the petrol characteristics that are common in other styles. This is a Kabinett style with 9% ABV, so there is a touch of residual sugar on the palate however it is well integrated with the acidity and flavors of lemon, lime and granny apple. This is a very tasty sipper, and just as a tip, if you want the wine to appear to be less sweet, just serves it at a cooler temperature!
