Villa di Capezzana Carmignano 2013

Villa di Capezzana wine is made from 80% Sangiovese grapes and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon; the wines have firmer tannin and tend not to develop as high of an acidity level as neighboring Chianti wines due to lower elevation. In the glass, as of March 2018, it shows phenomenal layers of flavor and aromas providing you decant this wine for 2 to 3 hours prior to consumption if drinking now. It can be cellar aged for 4 to 6 years quite easily. Flavors and aromas of herbs, red cherry, plum and mineral fill the glass, do not gulp down well integrated tannins make this wine a must enjoy with a Tuscan style grilled steak.
