The 2013 Colle Grimaldesco has spent 36 months aging in oak barrels and a further year of maturing in the bottle, approx 1200 cases are made each vintage. It is a big full bodied, full flavored wine that can be aged for 5 to 10 years however it can be enjoyed now too, in the glass it brings forth aromas and flavors of red fruits, spice and earthy and mineral tones and is a great pairing with a full flavored lamb peposo meat dish. 175 Cases made. #96 Wine Spectator Top 100 Wines of 2018.
