Sauvignon Blanc Hawke's Bay BottleSauvignon Blanc Hawke's Bay Label

Sauvignon Blanc Hawke's Bay

It looks like Sauvignon with its fleshy green hue, it smells like Sauvignon, with wafts of freshly cut pear, pineapple and hints of fresh mint, and it tastes like Sauvignon grown from soils that show off layers of stone fruit and lime and finishes with a refreshing mineral acidity.

It’s the original Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand! In 1969 brothers Bill and Ross Spence returned to New Zealand from studying wine making abroad determined to revolutionize the Kiwi wine industry. After planting Sauvignon Blanc grapes provided from a California nursery the brothers became the first to ever bottle Sauvignon Blanc in their country in 1974. The rest as they say is history. Of course Sauvignon Blanc has found its home in this far away land producing crisp, clean and delightfully aromatic wines sold around the globe.

Perfect for sunny patio sipping with quenching refreshing acidity and full tropical and citrus fruit flavours the Matua Hawkes Bay Sauvignon Blanc is also incredibly versatile in the food and wine relm. It is the vibrant mouth watering texture that lends itself perfectly to fresh salads, seafood and cuts like w knife with creamy or oily dishes!

The Matua is light bodied and packed full of grapefruit, lemon, lime and fresh pineapple notes. Sauvignon Blanc is known for its green bell pepper or even jalepeno aromas and flavours and there is no exception here. Currently on sale for $10.99 a savings of $3.90!

We will also be highlighting the Matsu El Recio from Spain and making note of our Organic Ad for Earth Day!

Good hosts and guests know their limits. Please drink responsibly.
