Santos da Casa Reserva 2011 Vinho Regional Alentejano
The wine colour is deep and dense revealing the varietals - in particular, the Alicante Bouschet - the fruit quality and the extraction technique. The aroma is dense and deep, rich, ample, showing black fruit, blackberry, black currant, plum, some fruit jam, with some tones, coffee and balsamic. Long, complex and distinctive. In the mouth, shows volume and great body. Full of flavour with a juicy texture and firm tannins. Taste of ripe red and black fruit, typical thermal suggestion from the origin and remarkable stretch of flavours. A wine with a notorious persistence, full of fragrance and complexity that brings out the spices and balsamic.
