Sage Hills Organic Vineyard & Winery 2016 Pinot Noir

Its cassis, plum, violet and mineral notes complement fine tannins and flavours of toasty oak. Our organic Pinot Noir grapes are thoroughly pampered in the vineyard, planted on prime real estate – a protected slope of the estate – and held to a yield of 1.3 tonnes per acre by meticulous cropping down. This attentive crop management sets our wine apart, ensuring only the best fruit is harvested. To maximize juice exposure to the complexities of the skin, the must was punched down twice a day then aged in French oak barrels. Our Pinot Noir is the perfect complement to a variety of menus, including charcuterie, light pasta dishes and grilled or roasted meats.
