What is Cabernet Sauvignon? Wine Varietal Facts – From Flavour to Grape Variety
Celebrate National Cabernet Day With Everything You Need to Know About Cabernet
A well-made and tasty red Bordeaux that could cellar another few years for $25 is not something our market is full of and so I was happy to drink this beauty the other day. The wine is from 2012 and so quite young by Bordeaux standards, but was drinking nicely, especially with some hard cheese and salami that I had on the side.
The wine is 85% Merlot and has the classic dark cocoa notes you'd expect along with lots of cherry and lengthy tannins.
