Paramour

The 2011 Paramour offers exquisite aromas of blackberry, blueberry and tobacco. This authentic expression of Cabernet Franc showcases textured layers of chocolate and nutmeg, combined with fine-grained tannin and cedar overlay. The supple finish is round and balanced, providing persistent length of flavour.

Just recently opened the 2008 Blackbird Vineyards Paramour blend, after having cellared it for almost 2.5 years, since purchase.  It just really aged so very well.  It was smooth, velvety, still very nicely balanced, and quite frankly delicious!!!  They really knocked it out of the park with this wine!  We loved it.  You can cocktail it quite nicely, but, it would also pair wonderfully with food.  We wanted to full enjoy this rich tasting wine, all on its own though, and truly savor it's wonderful flavors.
