Colour: Scarlet blood on warm brick Bouquet: Layers of sweet black fruit, some dark spices, subdued flashes of oak Palate: Silky and supple, balanced and moderately weighted with good flesh. Finishing soft, clean and dry. Very good strong persistence of boysenberry and blackcurrant flavours.

A good wine. Strong taste right from the start. Spice and pepper cone forward. We had this on the same night as a wine from Maverick in BC - and BC won hands down. Still if you are looking for a good Syrah that is not overpowering. This would be a good buy.
