Marolo Grappa di Barolo Bussia Vendemmia 2001

To celebrate the company's 35th anniversary, we have distilled and forgotten this Grappa di Barolo Bussia for years in small oak barrels. The time and characteristics of the vine give it an extremely rich and aristocratic character: the aromas of almond, tobacco and spicy are perfectly balanced by balsamic notes of anise and licorice. Its unique sensorial imprint will transport you to our hills, allowing you to better appreciate the spirit of the Langhe.

Mint, eucalyptis, anice, licorice - all sorts of herbal on the nose. Leather on the palate with a hint of bitterness for complexity. Very fresh and elegant. It's not perfect, but it shouldn't be. Imperfection is real rather than manipulated and this is a really great grappa.
