A bottle of the Chateau d’Yquem 1893 Sauternes dessert wine exists in the cellar at the Chateau in Bordeaux. Because of careful cellaring it has turned from a golden white to a distinct copper caramel colour and is likely the most interesting and delicious wine you’d ever try — for a price! A bottle of that fine dessert wine would likely be auctioned for at least $13K.
