La Tordera Alnè Extra Dry Prosecco BottleLa Tordera Alnè Extra Dry Prosecco Label

La Tordera Alnè Extra Dry Prosecco

Alnè is a vineyard which is set on clay (rare for the DOC Treviso area). The word Alnè comes from the Celtic phrase ‘al han’ which means ‘near water’ and this refers to a spring that flows on one part of the vineyard. Wines that come from Alnè are intense with pronounced fruit aromas. The vines are trained with the double arched cane method which is common in the Prosecco zone. The grapes are fermented to 11.5% alcohol leaving 16 grams of residual sugar per litre. The wine becomes sparkling via secondary fermentation in autoclave via the Charmat technique. True to prosecco the wine shows ample scents of green apple, ripe pear, and white flowers.

Innovation and progress notwithstanding, we remain drawn to the earth and its traditions.  We challenge...
