La Storia 2012 Cuvee 32

The 2012 La Storia Cuvee 32, Alexander Valley Estate, is the 15th vintage of this exquisite Tuscan-style blend. It has intense cranberry and cherry aromas, contributed by the Sangiovese, followed by deeper red fruit aromas of dark cherry, blueberry and a hint of pomegranate. The mouth feel is medium to full with relatively high, food friendly acidity, and a long and fresh finish. Drink now through 2019.

This “cuvee” or blend may be Tuscan in inspiration but it is certainly Californian in personality. The Cuvee 32 is intensely textured due in large part to its unique blend of of Sangiovese, Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Montepulciano. It has everything a wine lover could be looking for; deeply concentrated with a big personality that leaves a long lasting impression. An impression of a hand crafted premium wine experience and a great partner to grilled red meats.
