La Crema 2011 Chardonnay

This wine opens with layered tones of honeydew melon, ripe pineapple and honeysuckle, with touches of sweet vanilla. On the palate, white peach flavors dominate, framed by a lovely minerality and a subtle touch of caramel. The rich, round mouthfeel balances a juicy acidity and lingering lemon zest on the finish.

2013 La Crema Sonoma Coast Chardonnay

Classic styling for California Chardonnay.  This Sonoma Coast Chardy is ripe, pure in its expression and a good balance of fruit, winemaking and terroir.  Loads of tropical fruit, grilled pineapple, caramel, cracker jacks, cream corn, candy apple (like from the county fair). The texture is plush, round and soft and fully integrated with docile acidity, a confident dose of oak and an intense flavour profile.

This wine stands atop a hill and screams ...."I AM CALIFORNIA CHARDONNAY".... and it should be proud of it.  If creamy, intense and full Chardonnay floats your has arrived. I crave these wine styles at times.
