Very impressive value from a historic winery in the heart of Australia’s Coonawarra region. With 6 years of maturation the wine is silky smooth and drinking wonderfully.

The nose is warming, slightly stewed and savoury. Eucalyptus, pain grille, brioche, mulled cherry, glazed ham and blackberries are a few of the wafting aroma’s.

This is a wine that keeps on giving and is best enjoyed slowly and with simple fare and pleasurable company.

Super soft, silky, ultra sheen and a glass filled with warm cherries, brown butter and pie crust. The deeply concentrated palate has a touch of spice and hint of plum. The tannins are narry a pinch astringent rather they are soothing and melted.A long finish and giving style make this an impressive value.

Great with a rack of lamb or simple charcuterie and cheese.
