Kangarilla Road 2011 Chardonnay

Citrus and citrus oil aromas complemented with hints of Kaffir lime leaf, grapefruit and pineapple. On the palate, the flavour is full of crunchy lemon and grapefruit with creamy pineapple mid palate fruit with a lingering finish reminiscent of lemon sorbet.

This wine has a lot of citrus notes with a slight oily finish. I was very surprised that it was a Chardonnay because it was wonderfully fruit forward without a lot of sweetness.
