The 2011 Barrel 27 Head Honcho Syrah is an utterly hedonistic wine.  Ultra dark and opaque in the glass it has pure aromatics of deep plum, vanilla and pepper.  It is a thick and viscous wine with smooth tannins and a pure dark fruit expressions. Perfect to pair with the newest release on Netflix, intimate conversation or deep and flavourful dishes!

Absolutely love this wine, spicy but incredibly balanced and smooth.  Almost a candied, deep dark raspberry flavour.  Thanks to Mike at CO-OP for the recommendation!

This is a big, brooding and utterly full bodied wine. It is full of classic syrah notes of cured meat, black olives and sweet dark fruit. It will surely appease your customers as a big bold sipping wine and a perfect match if you fire up the grill on this gorgeous day and sear off some Alberta beef!
