Marcel Martin S. de La Sablette 2016 Rosé

This beautiful pale rose is the result of blending Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault and Tibouren. They use a method called direct press to extract the juice and keep the skin contact to a minimum. The finished product has a delicate aroma that opens with red fruits and a touch of stone from the land where the grapes grow. The palate is light, fresh, balanced and fruit driven. The finish brings a touch of spice, toffee caramel and a bit of spritz that is welcoming on a warm day.

Ok...fresh but a little sharp.

This rose fell a little flat for us. We didn’t find that it had much flavour, just acidity. It’s too bad because we love dry rose wine.
