Gravel Bed

The 2012 Gravel Bed Red radiates a dark purple to ruby red color. Initially displaying blackberry and coconut wood aromatics, this wine grows even more complex by later revealing Bergamot tea, cassis, espresso and black olive on the nose. The rich flavor attacks the palate with blackberry fruit followed by raspberry, underbrush tones and dried Herbs de Provence. The finish is both long and complex, but with some Cabernet tannins framing the generous fruit. It's a perfect wine to drink now!

A really delicious rich fruit forward, well balanced wine!  No food needed....this one was a delight all by itself!  We loved it the night we opened, it, ....and the next night as well.  A pleasure to drink.
