Galil Mountain Pinot Noir

Winemaking: Hand-harvested grapes were cold-soaked for an extended period followed by a relatively short, hot fermentation; after pressing, the wine was transferred to 1-to-3-year-old French oak barrels, and underwent malolactic fermentation and 10 months of aging. Tasting Note: Characters of red raspberry, cherry, lilac and violet blossom, with shades of vanilla, coffee and toasted oak; elegant and medium-to-full bodied; long, pleasurable finish. Serving Temperature: Best served at 16°C / 61°F. Aging: Under proper conditions, the wine will age well for 3-5 years from time of harvest.

Tried this wine for the first time this past weekend and it was incredible. Just the right amount of sweetness to accompany our delicious dairy Italian dinner. We were eight adults at the table and polished off 4 bottles. I think it is safe to say they all liked it too.
