What is Pinot Noir? Wine Varietal Facts – From Flavour to Grape Variety
Wine Basics — Grape Varietals 101: Aglianico
All Mineral All Day! Unmistakenly Old World Pinot Noir backed up with a boatload of fruit. This wine straddles the line between Old World and New World with stinky barnyard and stainless steel in harmony with fresh fruit. Certified organic, 14 months in mostly 2nd use French oak. You can tell this family has been making wine for a long time (now the 10th generation!)
I'd suggest decanting because it just kept getting fresher with ever sip and eventually some of that beautiful stink calmed down a bit.
