Famille Bougrier Vouvray "V" 2017

Broadly flavoured with honeydew melon, Anjou pear, and quince, the off-dry palate is richly fruited and succulent, and gorgeously balanced by Chenin’s sizzling acidity. Gently sweet Vouvray presents one of the most versatile styles for food like pork belly, smoked sablefish and perhaps best of all, ripe creamy cheese. Fantastic value from a historic producer who has been making classic wines in the Loire Valley since 1885. 18 g/L RS

A great example of off-dry Vouvray with balanced acidity. Pear and stone fruit with a soft, decadent mouthfeel. Pair with a charcuterie board of salted meats, dried apricots and creamy cheeses.
