Apothic Dark

Opaque deep ruby; aromas of stewed blueberry, black cherry, tobacco and dark chocolate; on the palate it is full bodied and dry with a kiss of sweetness; the flavours echo the aromas leading to a long and grippy finish.

Dark dark almost black purple. Smells like a mix of dark cherries, black berries and blue berries. Taste like blue berry pie or blue berry jam. I will buy again and again

Too sweet for me! 'had it with a classic sphagetti carbonara and the sweetness overpowered the meal. It might be more suited to casual drinking without food, or as a dessert wine, but not for me. BTW, I had the 2014.
