Jancis Robinson: “Ripe and luscious - very confident - with good balance of fruit, tannin and acidity. Drinking well now.” - 17 Pts, August 2016

Wine Spectator: “Cinnamon accents provide a zesty essence to the cherry tart and plum flavors. Dried herbal tones on the tannic finish.” - 88 Pts

Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate: “This monovarietal doesn’t go for the obvious or concentration; it is all about the elegance and the aromatics. If it is a bit understated in some ways, it is also fragrant, rather crisp and quite graceful. It adds, happily, a fine backbone for support. It is approachable, but capable of improving with a few years of cellaring as well. Lingering on the finish, it demonstrates that finesse is not synonymous with wimpy. It does need a bit of air to make that point. Overall, this beautifully balanced Touriga is probably the winery’s best Touriga yet.” – 90 Pts, Mark Squires

Decanter: “Floral, violet and red plum aromas matched by creamy oak. An intense palate with kalamata olive, blackcurrant and tapenade. Good acidity, balanced powerful tannins and fruit highly persistent and rich.” - 92 Pts
