Grand Coutale 2010

The Grand Coutale is an exceptional cuvée which is nurtured throughout production. The yield is 25 hl/ha, each grape hand-picked and fermented together, in Foudres'' (huge oak vats) with regular manual pigeages. Malbec, Merlot and Tannat assembledare then matured in specially selected oak barrels for two years immediately after alcoholic fermentation. Regular battonage'' (stirring) produces supple and elegant tannin. Prized by all the most prestigious professional juries, the Grand Coutale'' greatly expresses all the great natural factors, know-how and experience transmitted for six generations.
