The colour is sombre with violet highlights. The nose is very persistant red fruit notes. 1st taste fresh and fruity the red fruit aromas leave place for licorice notes and stewed prunes. The end shows these 3 varieties caliber, tannins present and fondant. A wine that is a pleasure to drink on all occasions. Serve as an aperitif or grilled meats and cheese eg; served at 16° with cold deli meats, between 18 - 20° with grilled meats, rib steak, beef under-cut, kebabs and Toulousan sausage, but also more refined dishes like duck with mushroom, rabbit with turnip, pigeon with raisins, or fricassé of chicken. Lovers of red wine will be happy as it also goes with fish and white meat as well as all sorts of cheese!
