Château Recougne Red Bordeaux

Merlot dominates the debate, leaving not even a quarter of the vintage of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are harvested by hand for a traditional vinification in temperature controlled stainless steel vats and cement , with regular pumping to favor the extraction of aromas and tannins. Then a double breeding in vats and oak barrels. Thus is born a Bordeaux Supérieur red fruits and licorice , with a concentrated palate, balanced tannins and provided with finesse. Drink within 5-8 years depending on the vintage.
