Vinous / Antonio Galloni: "Dark ruby. Smoke-accented cherry, dark berries and cured meat on the deeply scented nose. Lush and open-knit, offering sappy blackberry and bitter cherry flavors and a hint of cracked pepper. Game and candied lavender qualities linger on the finish, which features velvety tannins and a sweetening touch of cola. On the slightly wild side, but in a good way." 90 Pts

Wine Spectator: "Ripe and flattering, with a silky texture to the layers of boysenberry and raspberry fruit, liberally inlaid with red licorice and roasted apple wood notes. The long finish lets a violet hint check in. This should unwind pleasantly. Best from 2016 through 2024." 92 Pts
