Chateau D'Agassac Red Bordeaux

TO THE EYE : A beautiful bright garnet red appearance with slight hints of brick, wonderfully radiant. ON THE NOSE : The powerful nose immediately expresses a beautiful concentration of spicy and oaked aromas combined with little delicate touches of hazelnut, cinnamon and burnt vanilla. AFTER AIRING : As it develops, the nose displays fruitier aromas of crushed raspberry and strawberry over a plum jam base. These notes become more intense as time passes, expressing almost jammy notes of fruits in brandy such as Morello cherries. After oxygenation, waves of stone fruit and gentle spices delicately emerge. ON THE PALATE : Very supple, elegant and delicate tannins coating a slightly oaky texture of delicate vanilla. The full finish offers mineral touches of graphite and undergrowth, ending with a fresh, light structure revealing hints of Espelette pepper and juniper.
