Artezin 2011 Carignan

The wine is deep garnet red with a purple hue. Black fruit of bing cherry, plum and blackberry are followed by nuances of nutmeg and cocoa. The flavors are both red and black fruit redolent of berries, spices and cassis. The palate is highly textured and supple, with a silky finish. Excellent with hearty fare such as stews, cassoulet and brisket, it also pairs with red pasta sauces and strong cheeses.
