Wine Basics — Grape Varietals 301: Chardonnay
Loved it. Wonderfully soft and buttery style. Delcious enjoyed all by itself on the patio. Very decent price too, for this delightful and smooth Chardonnay! We were impressed.
A,B,C ….. “Anything but Chardonnay”. No, no, no that’s not right. We meant A,B,C….”Amazing, Buttery, Chardonnay”. Yes that’s more like it. In fact we crave it at times! Oaky, creamy smooth Chardonnay can be a polarizing wine experience or even a love hate relationship for some. The Coop Sommelier team finds themselves itching for a glass of overtly oaky, buttery rich and tropical Chardonnay. Like a freshly baked apple pie in a glistening and luscious liquid format….
Cameron Hughes is notorious for over delivering on fair price points, the Cam Collection represents near extreme values for California wines and this Chardonnay is no exception.
The best part about drinking a glass of Chardonnay like this is that it doesn’t need to be jet cold in order to enjoy it…..as a matter of fact as it comes up to room temperature the wine will feel even bigger, more buttery and round and immensely tropical. Which means it is perfect under the sun and paired with grilled dishes.
On sale starting July 24th $15.99 a savings of $7.30!
Good hosts and guests know their limits. Please drink responsibly.
