Brooks Winery 2016 Melon de Bourgogne

Kumquat, hay, cut grass, and maca- damia aromas. Lemon pith and white flowers. Very fresh and spring like. Flinty and mineral, orange blos- som and spray, arugula, spring pea, watercress and pear flavors. The wine has more weight than the nose would suggest, with ripe pear and apple, and generous cit- rus notes. Beautiful long and complex finish, with bright acidity and mouthwatering fruit and high notes of fresh spring herbs.
