Vibrant crimson red with a ruby rim. The nose displays aromas of blackberry and ripe plum with underlying vanillin oak. A soft and elegant, medium bodied Merlot with delicious red berry aromas that are supported on the palate by dark red berry fruit, textural vanillin oak and silky tannins.\

Tasted 2013 at Boston Pizza on 1/2 price- bottles Tuesday. Let it breathe. Tannins present but fairly silky. Dark berries, a little raspberry and maybe even a hint of cherry. Slight tinge of vanilla that for some reason reminds me of cedar. Drink the whole bottle. It gets better about 3/4 of the way through.
