A little more perfumy on the nose than I like - definitely the Viognier coming through! But on the palate, this is true Rhone Syrah with notes of ripe black berries and plums, a hint of pepper and some almond from the french oak. Smooth and full bodied, with ripe, silky tannins and just the right balance of acid and alcohol.  Definitely better once decanted, but could easily lay down for 3-5 more years! A beauty from the Okanagan!! Will be watching this vineyard closely for more fantastic offerings!

NOTE: On the second night, the Chanel No5 note was gone from the nose and left behind only Rhone Syrah goodness!
