Alta BottleAlta Label

Alta

An intense green-yellow colour with golden highlights. The nose offers ripe white fruit aromas such as pears and peaches that are interwoven with delicate citrus and floral notes, such as Jasmine. The palate is rich and concentrated ripe pear, apple, and apricot flavours with a light note of minerality. The wine finishes long and complex.

A glorious Chardonnay experience!  For the price point this needs to be a go to Chardonnay.  It is perfectly balanced in acidity, body and structure with just the right touch of oak and tropical fruit.  When you think Chardonnay maybe Argentina is not your go to category but Nicholas Catena has done it once again creating an incredibly balanced wine, when tasted blind one could very easily draw a conclusion of a fine white Burgundy such as Puligny-Montrachet.  Extreme value buy for the Chardonnay fan!
