California has a ridiculously complex and convoluted winemaking history. Phyloxera, prohibition, world wars, whiskey, the cocktail; we’ll explore how each of these affected some of California’s founding fathers of viticulture. We’ll be tasting wines from the Original Gangsters of California as well as from historic vineyards now farmed by young guns. As always, we’ll finish off the evening with a Charcuterie Board.
