Matt Kramer returns to i4c this July
Inaugural i4c Keynote Speaker returns to reflect on five years of i4c
Wine Spectator contributor Matt Kramer returns to Niagara this July and will join over fifteen Ontario and international panellists at the School of Cool industry session on Friday, July 17. Kramer was the keynote speaker at the inaugural International Cool Climate Chardonnay Celebration in 2011, and is excited at the prospect of interacting with the wines and professionals of Wine Country Ontario five years later.
""To return to the International Cool Climate Conference is a great privilege. Ontario wines are the epitome of cool climate, which puts them right on the cutting edge. I'm anxious to taste the latest, as quality keeps surging, seemingly with every new vintage"", said Kramer.
Master Sommelier John Szabo returns to moderate three provocative sessions that will bring international perspectives to viticulture and winemaking in cool climate regions, with a special feature on sparkling Chardonnay. During the coffee breaks, a selection of library wines collected over the past four i4c events will be available to taste.
Due to demand, The School of Cool, presented by the Grape Growers of Ontario and Wine Country Ontario, will be held at White Oaks Conference Resort & Spa in 2015. Panel partners include the Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute at Brock University, the Canadian Food & Wine Institute at Niagara College and Riedel."
