The BCWAS is delighted to announce our first dinner of 2015 with Meyer Family Vineyards. Join JAK Meyer and your fellow wine society bon vivants as we enjoy what I’m sure will be an amazing dinner at Seasons in the Park. JAK is bringing along some specially chosen wines from his cellar, which will be paired with a wonderful menu by Chef Peter Isacu. Meyer Family Vineyards started as a plot of land and a dream back in 2006. The OK Falls property was purchased in 2008, the same year that winemaker Chris Carson came on board. MFV is focused on making the Burgundy varietals of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Everything is made in small lots, hand-harvested and hand-crafted to reflect the unique terroir. Taste the difference in the two vineyards! And, don’t forget to ask JAK about Meyer’s wine club! Priority access to special wines, a 10% discount, invitations to special events, wines delivered to your door … why wouldn’t you want to join the Family? Seasons in the Park is located in the beautiful Queen Elizabeth Park, the highest point in Vancouver. The restaurant is an icon in the Lower Mainland, known for its delicious food, excellent service, and stunning views. In the last few years, they have also become known for their great selection of BC wines – go back on your own for one of their Seasons Winebar special events!
