Maison Nicolas Perrin is a boutique negociant which results from a meeting between the Perrin Family, specialists of the Southern Rhône and Nicolas Jaboulet, a man from the northern rhone.

On one side, the south, the art of blending, skilled in creating something greater than just a sum of different varieties. Each of the 13 varieties, vinified separately, contribute to the balance in colour, body, freshness, depth, richness and quality of the tannins.

On the other side, the north, with the knowledge of the terroirs, the soils but also the wine growers. Exposure to sun, type of soils, age of the vines, everything contributes to subtle variations, which we have to determine in order to extract the best of each factor.

There is definitely a creative process when making wine.

Maison Nicolas Perrin produces Crus from the Northern Côtes du Rhône. On the renowned appellations of Ermitage, Côte-Rôtie, Saint-Joseph, Cornas, Condrieu, Crozes-Hermitage, the blending process lies in the diversity and complexity of the different terroirs. In these Crus, not only are the soils different from one plot to another with granite soils, stony soils, limestone and clayey soils but also there are different exposures and altitudes depending on the localities.

Maison Nicolas Perrin create their wines rigorously and meticulously just like a musician composes a symphony.

After long research on the complementarity of terroirs, the wines are blended with precision and subtlety and offer complex aromas with an elegant and soft structure.
