The Domaine Durieu has been shaped little by little by Paul Durieu since the 1970s. The winery was created in 1976, the date of the first vintage. The estate's vines come from the Avril family for Châteauneuf du Pape and the Durieu family for the Côtes du Rhône Villages Plan de Dieu. Complemented with very old vines, some prior to World War I as well as younger vines, the vineyard offers a complete range from Côtes du Ventoux to Châteauneuf du Pape through the Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône Villages Plan de Dieu . Built in 1615 Cave is located in the heart of the village, Avenue Baron Le Roy.
Today, its cellar offers customers the opportunity to taste and buy distinctive and powerful white and red wines, made with passion by Vincent Durieu (eldest son of Paul) thanks to the variety of different grape varieties and the quality of the terroirs. It is under the impetus of François Durieu (younger son of Paul) that in recent years the marketing is particularly varied. Whether present at trade shows or trade fairs for individuals, wine merchants or great restaurants, the Domaine Durieu wines have gained notoriety and are thus referenced in guides such as those of Parker or Bettane and Desseauves.
