Our vision is simple: create wines that command attention and over deliver, beyond expectation. Our hope is to continually raise the winemaking bar of what is possible in this unique piece of the world. We do this within our 120 acres of estate vineyards strategically located in the South Okanagan Valley. Church & State has been recognized as producing Canada’s best red wine five times since 2009, acknowledged by international panels and foreign dignitaries (including Jancis Robinson, Master of Wine, Wine Advisor to the Queen).

Perched on the edge of the infamous Coyote Bowl in the Oliver-Osoyoos wine region in the Okanagan Valley, our modern, minimalist tasting bar features daily tastings of some of Canada’s best wines. Enjoy a tasting inside looking into the barrel room, or enjoy a flight on the patio looking across to the Golden Mile. Coyote Bowl is the perfect place to unwind for an afternoon of wine tasting and relaxing with our friendly wine experts in one of the Okanagan’s most unique tasting bars.

As Vancouver Island’s largest and most prolific winery, Church & State Wines Brentwood is a must-see for visitor’s to the region. Pouring award-winning wines from both our Vancouver Island Estate and Okanagan Estate vineyards, Church & State offers a unique experience just 15 minutes from Victoria. Join us for lunch from May to December in our bistro. Our talented culinary team have curated a menu made from the finest local ingredients and work with local purveyors as much as possible throughout the season.
