Chateau Pipeau is a family-owned estate that has been in the family for three generations, and is located just 3 kilometres from the town of Saint-Emilion.  Today, Richard Mestreguilhem is carrying on his father’s good work by keeping the estate management entirely a family affair.  The estate is managed according to strict principles, and family traditions - cluster thinning to limit yields, leaf-stripping towards harvest-time in order to optimize the ripening process, and careful sorting during harvesting for the best quality grapes.
