The Abouhav Winery is nestled among the quaint Old City lanes of Safed, in the heart of the Kabbalist Quarter, in an historic 16th century structure.
It is a boutique kosher winery, producing about 15,000 bottles a year. Most bottles are exported to private clients around the world or sold at the winery.The wine is made in an old traditional and secret method.
The grapes are cultivated by hand, fermented and then aged for 18 months in oak barrels.
