What's in my wine glass?
Rosé. Always Rosé.
It’s the most versatile wine for any occasion and I drink pink all year long. There’s a big misconception about rosé wine and I’ve made it my personal mission to shatter those myths and get everyone all board the rosé train. People often associate anything pink with the taste of bubble gum and cotton candy, but that’s not the case with the dry style rosés I love. There are so many different types of flavours that various grapes and grape blends offer in rosé. Just like with red wine, what you get from a Cabernet Sauvignon rosé is vastly different from what you experience with Gamay or Cabernet Franc and so on. If I had to pick a favourite – and I hate to have to do that – I’d pick a Rosé of Pinot Noir. It has a delicate, elegant structure that is easy-drinking and very food friendly. It’s not just a “summer sipper,” although it really is perfect on a patio; it’s a winter warmer, too so don’t limit yourself. It takes a strong person to drink pink!
