When you’re feeling the chill of winter or even a little under the weather, there’s nothing more comforting than a hot beverage. In fact, one of our favourite warm beverages, the Hot Toddy, started out as a cold remedy. It was said that the lemon was for vitamin C, the honey to soothe your throat and the whisky to numb you!

Today, there are plenty of variations to this popular cold weather beverage and it’s not just to “cure what ails you” anymore. There’s something about the flavour of a good Hot Toddy that reminds us of the holidays and is a great end to a long, cold day.
