“Welcome to a new revolution in wine or as we like to call it – The Official Wine of Rock n’ Roll” – Wines That Rock
Wines That Rock Wine Company
After the huge success of their first pouring in October 2009 at the 25th Anniversary of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame Concert, Wines That Rock took off in a big way! Some of their classic rock wines include: Pink Floyd Darker Side of the Moon Cabernet Sauvignon, Grateful Dead Steal Your Face Red Blend, Rolling Stones Forty Licks Merlot, Woodstock Chardonnay, The Police Synchronicity Red Blend and their newest wine Grateful Dead 50th Anniversary Cabernet Sauvignon with a promise of more wines to come. Sounds like a gag or novelty wine?
Well this is no gag wine. Wines That Rock are real, delicious and picking up awards left, right and centre stage. At the 2010 International Eastern Wine Competition, their Pink Floyd DSM Cabernet Sauvignon brought home a silver medal, their Rolling Stones Merlot was awarded a Bronze and their Woodstock Chardonnay snagged a Bronze medal as well. Wines That Rock also won 4 medals (3 Gold and 1 Silver) and a Special Recognition Award for their labels at the New World International Wine Competition.
This Is Not Your Grandfather’s Wine Company
Their message is clear and simple: “Wines That Rock is approaching the wine business in a totally new way. This is not your Grandfather’s Wine Company. Wines That Rock set out to do things our own way. By crafting these great tasting wines with classic music as our muse, utilizing the tapestries from the rock vaults as our cover, and truly creating something that tastes great, Wines That Rock is out to change the boring perceptions of your typical wine. Wines That Rock is meant to be fun, a conversation starter, an eye popping party gift that makes you do a double take once you actually pop the cork and taste what’s inside. It’s also the perfect complement to your meal or just what you need when you want to kick back, relax and enjoy.”
