How to Cook Ribeye Steak (with Soy, Ginger & Seasame Oil Seasoning)

 

Ingredients For Ribeye Steak with Ginger, Soy, and Sesame Oil

Steak:

4 well-marbled beef rib-eye steaks, about 1 1/2 inches thick

 

Ginger, Soy, Sesame Oil Marinade Ingredients:

1 cup light soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, finely minced

1 tablespoon finely chopped or grated ginger

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil

1 tablespoon of cornstarch

Freshly ground pepper

 

How To Cook Steak (with Sesame Oil, Soy & Ginger Seasoning)

  1. Combine the marinade ingredients in a non-reactive baking dish. Add the meat, turn it to coat it, and marinate for 10 minutes to half an hour, turning once or twice. Do not marinate overnight, as this is a fairly salty marinade.
  2. Prepare your grill for direct medium heat. Place the steaks on the grill and cook them for about 4 minutes.
  3. Flip the steak, spoon a little more marinade on top and then cook the steak for another 4 minutes for medium rare.
  4. Let the ribeye steaks cool for 4 minutes then serve.
