A Winery in Lodi, California has been named winery of the year at the Unified Wine & Grape Symposium in Sacramento, California.

The Lodi AVA (American Viticultural Area) is located in the Central Valley of California. This year Lodi’s Michael David Winery beat out the more popular regions of Sonoma and Napa Valley, California for the top honour of Winery of the Year. The winery is owned and operated by brothers Michael and David Phillips who carry the legacy of 150 years of farming in California.
